Job Description:

• 6 years of datacom experience.
• Support extracts/data transfers to load initialized tables, move tables among different data sets, copying between regions etc.
• Experience in determining index usage, recommend index usage/setup and avoidance.
• Proficient in extracting the query plan, recommend improvements, suggest query rewrites (for better plan/usage of db config).
• Real time monitoring experience (like UM accounting tables).
• Good knowledge of data dictionary and system monitoring using static and dynamic system views, querying metadata & identifying transactions/bottlenecks.
• Experience with DB utilities such as autosnap accounting tables, sysviews etc.
• Familiarity with auto collect & auto snap commands.
• Expertise with commands and reports to monitor/extract information out of system.
• Provide monitoring report about most frequently used & high volume table/indices.
